1972 Changed company name to Toyo Importing Co. Ltd. Established Canada-wide broker representation for our products.
1973 Introduced Sunburst instant noodles in five flavours.
1974 Registered first trademark "SUNBURST".
1976 Appointed Canadian agents for Maruchan soup products.
1978 Registered trademarks "TAIPAN" and "SHOGUN". Registered current company logo design.
1989 Moved office/warehouse from Richmond, BC to our current location in Burnaby, BC.
2000 Appointed our current Canadian sales broker.

2010 Began distribution of Mishima Miso Soup in four flavours.
